Luke Bryan’s newest sneak peek of an unreleased anthem is “a country boy’s dream.”
The five-time Entertainer of the Year imagines his perfect day of fishing, hunting, golfing and drinking in the lyrics of the unreleased song. Bryan posted a sneak peek on Instagram on Wednesday (May 6): “If I could have it my own way you know/ Let me tell you how every day would go/ Wake up, coffee/ Camo, climb tree/ Wet line, eighteen/ Fish, hunt, golf, drink/ All fall, all spring, all summer long/ I’ll be living it up and living it on/ A country boy’s dream/ Fish, hunt, golf, drink.”
Bryan teamed up with Matt Dragstrem and Chase McGill to write “Fish Hunt Golf Drink.” He did not announce a release date for the unreleased song as of publication time.
The American Idol judge’s newest teaser arrives a few days after he took the stage at the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival, which took place on Saturday night (May 2) at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Bryan included career-spanning hits throughout his set, including “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye,” “Play It Again,” “Knockin’ Boots,” his collaboration with special guest George Birge, “Ride, Ride, Ride,” and his latest single, “Country And She Knows It.” Matt Dragstrem, Josh Miller and Parker Welling wrote the song that Bryan released earlier this spring.
“As I gear up for touring season and summer I really wanted to focus on releasing a song that felt fun and energetic and the moment the writers sent this one I knew it was it,” Bryan said in a statement when “Country And She Knows It” made its debut. “I have always tried to have the mindset to wake up and approach every day as a good day so being able to share that way of life through my music is something I am honestly grateful for. Can’t wait to look out and see the crowds out of their seat and bonus if a little dancing is going on.”
Bryan is gearing up for his headlining “Word On The Street Tour” — named after another recent single — with Drew Baldridge, Karley Scott Collins, Lanie Gardner, Randall King, Zach John King, Shane Profitt, RaeLynn, Lauren Watkins, Jake Worthington and DJ Rock on select dates.
