A newly discovered bug in the iPhone's Facetime app lets people hear through someone else's iPhone, even if they haven't answered the call . Apple says the bug seems to rely on the Facetime Group Call feature, which launched just last year.
The company says a fix is coming this week, and recommends turning off Facetime on your iPhone to prevent anyone from snooping in the meantime. But the kicker of it all? THEY didn’t discover the glitch – a teenager did !
Apparently, the teen found the flaw and told his mom…and according to evidence she’s produced, she advised Apple a week ago. Her communications were apparently ignored until a video exposing it went viral.
