No Clowns Allowed At Michigan City’s Annual Halloween Event (REAL)

If you’re heading to the annual Oak Park Boo Bash in Michigan this Halloween you’re in for a fun-filled evening of hayrides, cider, music and donuts… but not clowns. Event officials have reportedly imposed a ban on clown costumes.

Why? According to Oak Park recreation director Laurie Stasiak, not only are they looking out for people with phobias and anxieties around clowns, but the characters have gotten increasingly creepy in the past few years. That’s partially due to the new “It” movie that has popularized sinister looking Pennywise The Clown costumes, but also because of how clown have been popping up in the news… and not for a laugh.

“This event is centered around young children,” Stasiak says. “About 3 years [ago] there were national incidents in the news [where] people were dressing up as clowns and scaring people, and in some cases assaulting them.”

Woman Wants To Make Wedding Dress Out Of Dead Mom’s Hair (REAL)

Sewport.com, a site that connects people with clothing manufacturers. She’s saved up almost $20,000 to get a replica of her late mother’s wedding dress made… with human hair.

Admitting that it’s a “strange request,” she’s looking for someone to recreate the dress her late mother wore at her wedding in 1953 as a “special memento” by August of 2019, the anniversary of her mother’s passing. Her sketch of the design shows the sleeves, trim and neckline made from her dead mother’s actual hair, which she says she started collecting ever since she learned she was ill back in 2014… Fast forward four years, she has “one large box” of the hair, so she’s looking for a “specialist” who can handle the unique request and material.

“At the time I wasn’t quite sure why I was collecting it. However, now I think I do,” she wrote. “I’d also like the bodice around the midsection of the dress to have a lacy, floral design mad with the hair.”

So far, no one has taken on the unusual. If you or someone you know is up to the challenge, visit the website HERE.
