The FBI agent whose fancy moves on the dance floor left a club patron with a gunshot wound has been given his gun back. At least, a judge has decided he’s allowed to carry one again.
As you’ll recall, Chase Bishop was off duty June 2nd when he performed a backflip while dancing at a club in Denver and his gun dropped to the floor. It went off when he attempted to pick it up…and he walked away.
In a short court hearing, he was cleared to carry a weapon again as “so long as it is done in a manner pursuant to FBI policy.” In other words – no dancing – which is interesting, because officials said that he should never have been armed in a club in the first place. Either way, it’s not clear what the status of Bishop’s employment is.
