As we reported previously, ABC took swift action after Roseanne Barrposted and then deleted a racist about former Obama administration advisor Valerie Jarrett. The racist tweet resulted in the cancellation of the re-booted "Roseanne" show.
Barr initially apologized for what she called a "bad joke" in a tweet, then later said she was "Ambien tweeting" in another social media post (that has since been removed).
Sanofi, who makes Ambien, responded: "While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication."
People of all races, religions and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world. While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.— Sanofi US (@SanofiUS) May 30, 2018
