(VIDEO) $3000 Engagement Ring Ends Up In Lake!

A Kansas City couple started their life together with a really expensive splash. Seth Dixon was getting ready to propose to the love of his life, Ruth Salas, when he unexpectedly dropped her $3,000 diamond engagement ring in a lake. The video starts off with Seth getting down on one knee to propose to his woman as she holds her hand over her heart at Loose Park in Kansas City.  But as he cracked open the box to give his bride-to-be the symbol of their love, the ring slipped out and fell onto the bridge where they were standing. But the terror didn't stop there.  The ring then fell through the tiny cracks of the bridge and into the water below as Seth desperately scrambled to catch it.  “It went down,” Ruth is heard saying as her husband-to-be clasps his hand over his mouth. But once the couple's friends heard of what happened they tried their best to help, even jumping into the water and scouring the bottom of the lake to find the ring.  According to a GoFundMe account set up to help Seth replace the ring, about 25 of their friends grabbed their goggles and headed to Loose Park in search of this small treasure.  “After a long, hard search all the divers came up empty handed.  The couple left with no ring in hand but a heart full of love and memories to last a lifetime,” the account read.  The couple's friends said they are getting married next month, on October 21, and they wanted to create the fundraiser so the pair can have a wedding with a ring.  Seth, who works as an Uber driver, has been dating Ruth for four years.  He told the Kansas City Star that the whole thing is “absolutely real.”  “I wish it wasn't,”
