Wisconsin State Patrol Needs More Troopers

If you have ever dreamt of becoming an officer of the law, here is your chance. The Wisconsin State Patrol is looking for new recruits. According to Trooper Jacob Sampson, the State Patrol is searching for people who are generally interested in working for the department.

There will be a recruiting open house here in Eau Claire, Monday December 16 from 1-6 p.m. at the Eau Claire State Patrol post located 5005 U.S. Highway 53.

No law enforcement experience is necessary. Although there are some requirements: background check, vision and hearing requirements along with a few basic physical tests Applications are now being accepted through January 12. Then the Academy begins classes in July and runs through January 2021.
