Chippewa Valley (WQOW) –Veteran’s Day is on Monday and there are plenty of opportunities for you to honor the veterans who have served our country.

Eau Claire: 9:30 a.m.at Longfellow Elementary School, Join us as we sing patriotic songs and honor our nation’s Veterans.
10:30 a.m.– 12th annual Veteran’s Day BBQ at MN Wire in Eau Claire
Menomonie: 9:50 a.m.at Menomonie Middle Schol, SMSgt. Cheryl Tomsovic of Volk Field (Camp Douglas), and Sally Berkholder. Sally is going to give a short talk about Wisconsin’s only women to receive a Silver Star in WWII.
Altoona: 10:30 a.m.at Altoona High School, New this year, students were asked to invite their veteran relatives to join them at a special luncheon scheduled to follow the program.Watch the program live here
Mondovi: 1 p.m. at The Barn at Mirror Lake, Join us in honoring those who have served our great country with an afternoon of speakers, planes and a sweet treat.
