From the full story courtesy of our friends at WQOW 18, Eau Claire police will be watching and patrolling school zones with extra effort. Their message is simple. SLOW DOWN.
The extra patrols will begin on Tuesday September 3rd from 7:15 until 10:30 in the morning and then from 12:30 until 4:30 afternoons. The going rate for a fine if you are caught is around $200.
What I like about this is that it is not some sort of stealth, ninja trick. Here are the Eau Claire Police saying 'we are going to be here and here from this time to that time.' So, if you get caught I am not going to feel bad for you.
