From the website CNBC.com, the Walgreens company has announced that it will close 200 locations in the U.S.
However, they are NOT releasing the list of locations that will be affected by these closures. So, I posted this to see if anyone in the Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley area knows anymore.
To be honest, I haven't been to Walgreens in a while and I actually had to look up and see if Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls had any stores.
There are two locations - 1106 W E Clariemont Ave. and 1819 S. Hastings Way.
There are 10,000 Walgreens locations across the United States and that 200 represents only about 3% of that. But, still, no matter those closures are going to happen, more people will be out of work. That's the saddest part.
