The company that own the Pizza Hut name, Yum! Brands announced that they will begin to focus more on a delivery based restaurant. They want create an 'express store' type of business.
This article in Nation's Restaurant News explains the situation in more detail. Feel free to click on the link and read it. My main concern is that the article did state that most of the closures will take place in the Midwest. That's us.
And it's not just the three Eau Claire spots. There are 141 Pizza Hut stores in Wisconsin total. How many of those are going to be affected? That could add up to a lot of lost jobs.
