From WQOW News 18, An Eau Claire man could spend the next 75 years in prison for allegedly possessing child porn.
Beau Morrow, 38, is charged with three counts of possessing child porn in Eau Claire County.
According to the criminal complaint, authorities in Eau Claire County were tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The tip said someone using the account name littleprincess2005 had uploaded an image of child sexual abuse material to the website Chaturbate.
Chaturbate is an adult website providing webcam models featuring nudity and sexual activity.
Police traced the IP address to Beau Morrow’s apartment.
Police said they were also notified of two other images uploaded to the site from a similar username – littleprincess2004.
Police said that IP address came back to Chippewa Valley Technical College, where Morrow was an employee at the time.
Police obtained a search warrant for Morrow’s apartment and interviewed him.
The criminal complaint says Morrow initially said he had not used Chaturbate in about four years and was not familiar with the littleprincess usernames. He also said none of the photos looked familiar to him when police showed them to him.
Eventually, Morrow admitted to using the littleprincess username on the site and admitted to searching for terms like “teen boy” and “nude teen boys” on the internet, according to the complaint.
Police searched Morrow’s phone and found three videos and eleven images of child sexual abuse material on his iPhone.
If convicted on all three charges, Morrow faces up to 75 years in prison.
He is due back in court September 12.
