According to WQOW TV, a 47 year-old Eau Claire man was taken into custody Monday night after Eau Claire Sheriff's deputies were called to an incident on London Road.
Randy Promer was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle around 9:30 Monday night. According to Eau Claire Sheriff's Department, Promer was driving on London Road, then somehow drove into a parking lot and finally hit a curb, where the vehicle then came to a stop.
Promer was arrested on the scene for operating under the influence. It is his 7th drunk driving offense.
Along with that, he was booked for possession of meth, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation hold.
