Recently I did a post/blog on what you thought were the worst intersections in Eau Claire. Well, now the Wisconsin State Patrol has gotten on board and released their results of a lengthy study to find out which roads and areas in Chippewa County are the most accident prone.
An astonishing 190 car crashes have occurred in the past 3 years in Chippewa County. They have cause 246 injuries and 5 fatalities. The biggest cause of these? Distracted drivers and teenage drivers.
The State Police found Chippewa County's top 3 crash hot spots are as follows:
3) 17th Avenue and Main Street in Bloomer
2) Elm Street and Superior Street in Chippewa
1) US 53 and WI Hwy 29 in Lake Hallie
