The Big Ten has announced their full 2023 football schedules today. This will be the first year of football for the conference under their expansive new media rights agreement.
The Wisconsin Badgers kick off the season on September 2nd, 2023 at Camp Randall against Buffalo. That's followed by a road trip to Washington State, who beat Wisconsin earlier this year, and then a final non-conference game at home against Georgia Southern in week 3.
The Badgers start Big Ten conference play on September 23rd with a road game at Purdue. That's followed by a bye week at the end of September.
Wisconsin then hosts Rutgers and Iowa in back-to-back weeks coming out of the bye, followed by a trip to Champaign to face Illinois.
After Illinois comes Ohio State. The Buckeyes make their first trip to Madison since 2016. That will be on October 28th.
Following that will be a trip to face Indiana, then back home to Camp Randall to host Northwestern and Nebraska. The season concludes as usual against Minnesota with the Badgers making the trip up to to the Twin Cities to battle for Paul Bunyan's Axe on November 25th.
Wisconsin does not play Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, or Maryland in 2023.
