Amy’s Lock Screen Exposed in Spill the Tea

Spill the tea had some pretty hot tea during The Bobby Bones Show today when someone anonymously called out a personal detail about Amy’s phone.

Bobby wasn't sure if this tea was too personal so he decided to have someone on the show see the tea and determine if it could be shared out loud. To keep things fair, a number between one and five was randomly selected, landing on Morgan, who was asked to review the message and decide whether it crossed a line. After reading it, Morgan hesitated, describing the situation as “not bad,” but definitely “awkward.” Reassured that it wouldn’t ruin anyone’s life or relationships, she ultimately gave the green light.

The anonymous tip was then revealed through a voice changer: Amy still had her ex-boyfriend as the photo on her phone’s lock screen. The show member questioned how she could move on while keeping that image so visible, adding that it might even affect her chances of dating someone new. The revelation immediately sparked reactions in the studio, with everyone asking to see the lock screen for themselves. Amy confirmed the photo was indeed there but explained that her lock screen rotates through different images. She said it had recently been a picture of her son and their cat, and she hadn’t realized it had switched back.

Her explanation didn’t fully convince the show, who pushed back on the idea that changing the photo was too much work. Amy admitted she hadn’t taken the time to update it, comparing it to other small tasks she tends to put off, like cleaning out old text messages. Eddie and Lunchbox encouraged her to move on, both emotionally and digitally. With guidance from the others, Amy began the process of changing her lock screen in real time, eventually selecting a more recent photo of her and her son. When Amy mentioned that the photo had somehow changed on its own before, she jokingly questioned whether it was a “sign” to get back with her ex.
