Travis Tritt Won't Play Shows At Venues That REQUIRE A Vaccine.

We need MORE of this! I am so proud of Travis Tritt for standing up and pushing back against the government overreach in this COVID era. Travis Tritt has cancelled shows at venues that REQUIRE patrons be vaccinated and show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination. He says its NOT about the vaccine itself, rather the infringement on people's rights to make decisions for themselves. Tritt said in an interview on Fox News' Tucker Carlson yesterday,

"These people have been shut out from getting a chance to go see concerts for over a year, and they are finally getting a chance to do that again, and now they are being turned away for some unexplained reason, so this is not about following the science or trying to look out for the safety of the people there. This is about something else. This is trying to divide people. This is trying to shame people. This is trying to basically discriminate against people that they don’t feel are clean enough to be part of enjoying a concert like that."

I love seeing artists standing up. Travis Tritt is setting an example of how we SHOULD approach these "vaccine mandates". I'll say it again, it's not about the actual vaccine itself. Your choice to get vaccinated against COVID-19, or to not get vaccinated, is YOUR PERSONAL choice. We have never required people to have the flu shot before attending a concert or to be able to work. Heck, you can have a religious exemption to keep from vaccinating your kids from polio, chicken pox, and the likes. But with the COVID vaccine, it's either you get it, or your life is supposed to be made harder. That's so wrong on many levels.

We are AMERICANS. The foundation of our country is the God given big R rights laid out in the Bill of Rights, and the government telling US what to do when it comes to our health and our bodies is against everything this country was founded on. We've seen it with artists like Travis Tritt, police and fire personnel across the country, military, athletes, media personalities, and more standing up against these inherent government overreaches and it needs to continue. They must be shown that WE THE PEOPLE will not stand for this, and WE will push back.

Bravo Travis Tritt, bravo.
