Justin Moore delivered his next radio single to fans with an exclusive premiere on iHeartCountry stations nationwide on Thursday (November 16), one day before its official release. Moore’s “This Is My Dirt,” which he’s teased on his social media channels this week, will make its debut on Friday (November 17).

Moore teamed up with Paul DiGiovanni, Randy Montana and Jeremy Stover to write “This Is My Dirt,” and describes the anthem as “a song about how you grew up, and more specifically, where you grew up. The land I live on today and where I raise my children, is the same land that I grew up on. It has been in our family since the late 1800s.

“My great, great grandfather raised my grandfather here,” he continued. “My grandpa inherited the land from him, and then I inherited it from my grandpa. So, it's really special to us, for obvious reasons. But no matter where you grew up, I think everybody holds a special place in their heart for that place — whether it's a subdivision or thousands of acres, whatever the case may be. This song is about taking pride in wherever it is that you call 'your dirt.’”

“This is my dirt/ These are my fields/ Where I harvest what I plant/ That little pond, I catch bluegill/ I built that barn with my two hands/ Where I raised my babies, a piece of me/ Nah this ain’t just a piece of land/ The money’d be great/ But I can’t part ways with a life that works/ You can’t put a greenback dollar on what it’s worth/ This is my dirt”

The country hitmaker is known for his career-spanning country anthems like “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” “With A Woman You Love,” “We Didn’t Have Much,” “Small Town USA,” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” and many others. His latest full-length album, Stray Dog, released in May. The 8-track project included “Everybody Get Along” with Riley Green, his smash-hit duet with Priscilla Block, “You, Me, And Whiskey,” and other highlights. Moore also released the deluxe edition of his 2019 project, Late Nights And Longnecks, in September. That album included “Why We Drink,” “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” and other tracks.
