Here's Every Movie In Theaters On Christmas Day 2019

For many people, heading to the movies on Christmas Day is a special annual tradition. There's a ton of great options to choose from this year. In fact, you may want to plan enough time for a Christmas double feature. Here are all the movies that will be in theaters on Christmas Day 2019:

Frozen 2 (November 22)

In the massive box offfice hit, "Elsa the Snow Queen and her sister Anna embark on an adventure far away from the kingdom of Arendelle. They are joined by friends, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven." Watch the trailer here.

Black Christmas (December 13)

The remake of the horror classic picks up as "Hawthorne College is quieting down for the holidays. One by one, sorority girls on campus are being killed by a stalker. But the killer is about to discover that this generation's women aren't willing to become hapless victims as they fight back." Watch the trailer here.

Jumanji: The Next Level (December 13)

In the highly anticipated followup to 2017's Jumanji revival, "Spencer goes back into the fantastical world of Jumanji, pals Martha, Fridge and Bethany re-enter the game to bring him home. But everything about Jumanji is about to change, as they soon discover more obstacles and more danger to overcome." Watch the trailer here.

Bombshell (December 20)

Based on true events, Bombshell takes "a revealing look inside the most powerful and controversial media empire of all time and the explosive story of the women who brought down the infamous man who created it." Watch the trailer here.

Cats (December 20)

Adapted from the iconic stage musical with a star-studded, Cats takes places "over the course of a single night as a tribe of cats called the Jellicles make what is known as 'the Jellicle choice' and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life." Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker (December 20)

The epic Skywalker saga comes to a conclusion in this final installment: "The surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more as Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron's journey continues. With the power and knowledge of generations behind them, the final battle commences." Watch the trailer here.

1917 (December 25)

Filmed to look like it was shot in one continuous take, 1917 follows "two British soldiers embark on a dangerous mission to save 1,600 men from certain doom during World War I." Watch the trailer here.

Just Mercy (December 25)

Starring Michael B. Jordan, Brie Larson and Jamie Foxx, Just Mercy is based on true events and "follows young lawyer Bryan Stevenson and his history-making battle for justice. After graduating from Harvard, Bryan might have had his pick of lucrative jobs. Instead, he heads to Alabama to defend those wrongly condemned."

Little Women (December 25)

Louisa May Alcott’s beloved 1868 novel Little Women is being adapted for the big screen yet again. Emma Watson, Saorsia Ronan, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen star as Meg, Jo Amy and Beth March this time around "as they come of age in America in the aftermath of the Civil War. Though all very different from each other, the March sisters stand by each other through difficult and changing times." Watch the trailer here.

Spies in Disguise (December 25)

Will Smith and Tom Holland star in this animate comedy. Here's the official synopsis: "Super spy Lance Sterling and scientist Walter Beckett are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions. But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can't learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril." Uncut Gems (December 25)

Starring Adam Sandler in what's being called his best role yet, Uncut Gems follows "a charismatic jeweler who makes a high-stakes bet that could lead to the windfall of a lifetime.
