Students in Pennsylvania’s Northern Lebanon School District are being forced to smile. In case you missed it, a new report reveals that the students must smile in the hallways between periods and if they don’t they will be sent to the guidance counselor's office to talk through their problems, and if they don’t they get detention. According to teachers, the assistant principal Benjamin Wagner has been a stickler about enforcing the rule, even though the district has yet to put it into writing. Meanwhile, parents are complaining that while this is an issue, the school is doing nothing about bullying, despite there being a written policy about that. Source: Lebanon Daily News
