How good is the food at Jack-In-The-Box? Good enough to kidnap someone and make them give you a ride there!
He must have really been hungry … A California high school teacher was arrested after allegedly threatening three of his students at knifepoint and ordering them to drive him to Jack in the Box.
The students were driving around on Saturday night when they saw their teacher, 34-year-old John Maust, standing on the sidewalk. He allegedly asked the kids for a ride and they agreed.
According to the students, Maust was acting strange and appeared to be intoxicated, so they pulled over and stopped the car. According to police reports, when the teens got out of the vehicle, Maust told them he wanted to go to Jack in the Box and ordered them back into the car. Maust then allegedly pulled a knife on them.
One of the teens was able to call 911 and Maust fled the car when he realized a police helicopter was flying overhead.
He surrendered at the Altadena Sheriff’s Station, where he was arrested without incident. He’s been charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and criminal threats. Guess he never got his burger … (Huffington Post)
